YOUR KIND OF NEWS

Archives Yan Morvan is a fully independent magazine series dedicated to the vast photographic archive of French photojournalist Yan Morvan. For over fifty years, his camera has documented wars, social unrest, and underground cultures with unflinching clarity. The series includes fixed-format magazines (24 to 48 pages) and variable-format Hors-Série issues, all published outside of institutional channels. Season 1 (2021–2022) comprises 18 magazines and 4 Hors-Série. Season 2 begins in 2025 with new publications on Northern Ireland and the Green Line in Beirut.
Each issue offers a deep dive into a place or moment — from the refugee camp of Chatila, or Kosovo, to the battlefields of Mariupol to the hidden worlds of squats, fetish scenes, bikers, and hip-hop. Proceeds directly support the ongoing archiving, scanning, and printing of future issues.
Archives Yan Morvan is more than a collection of images — it’s a living memory in progress.
Fully independent magazine published by underground publisher Industrie Culturelle (IC, runned by Quentin Euverte). Each publication is like entering a box of slides of this colossal archive of the last 50 years, a photographed portrait of progress and it's collaterals.
